A local man was sentenced to 28 months in jail on Tuesday for theft as an act of retaliation against his brother. The defendant pleaded guilty for stealing BND1,100 in cash directly from his brother.
The defendant also plead guilty to charges of auto theft and switching the number plates of the stolen vehicle in a separate incident at Kampong Beribi on July 21. The defendant was found using the stolen vehicle up until his arrest.
