Zaharim Tawang emerged the winner of the male category in the Persatuan Kebajikan Melayu Se-Malaysia (PKMS) Bowling Tournament on Sunday, after collecting 356 points, while the female category was won by Junaidah with 282 points.
PKMS organised the tournament at the Golden Bowling Company, The Airport Mall to mark Malaysia Day.
Meanwhile, Trio Zaharim, Haji Shahadan and Tengku Faiz won the group category with 834 points.
Deputy Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nur Ezira Mahadi presented prizes.
The tournament aimed to strengthen ties among Malaysians working in the Sultanate regardless of their backgrounds, association, race and religion, which is in alignment with the Malaysia Day celebration. – Lyna Mohamad
