RISING Malaysian musician and former firefighter Syafiq Farhain is in Brunei Darussalam to meet fans in the country.

Speaking to the Bulletin, the 25-year-old, who made his first stop in the Sultanate in the Belait District yesterday, said that this was his first time visiting Brunei.

“I landed at Miri International Airport before making my way to Brunei,” he said. “My visit to Brunei is not only to visit the various sights and landmarks the country has to offer, but also to meet and greet my fans and visit the fan clubs around the country.

“The fans I meet here today are fantastic and supportive. Being able to meet my fans from various countries who have been supporting me since the beginning is always a great experience for me.”

The singer said he plans to visit various famous landmarks in Brunei during his two-day stay, as he wanted to take this opportunity to learn as much as possible about the country.

Syafiq Farhain will leave Brunei later today.
