The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) received a visit from a delegation from University of Malaya (UM), Malaysia, comprising 11 students taking diplomas in teaching and a lecturer.
The delegation was in the country from April 2 to 8 for the Jalinan Muhibbah programme. Ra’es of KUPU SB Dr Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar welcomed the delegates.
The programme aimed to foster ties as well as exchange knowledge between KUPU SB and UM particularly in the field of teaching in the contemporary as well as the Islamic context.
Activities included postgraduate-strengthening lectures, and a visit to the Brunei Darussalam Leadership and Teacher Academy (BDLTA).
A dialogue with Secretariat of the MIB Supreme Council (MTMIB) was also held at The Rizqun International Hotel, with a briefing from Special Duties Officer of the MTMIB Office Rushdi bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
