His Majesty sends congratulatory message on Canada Day

HIS Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to send congratulatory messages to Governor-General Commander-in-Chief of Canada Julie Payette and Prime Minister of Canada Justin PJ Trudeau as well as the government and people of Canada on the occasion of Canada Day.

In the message to Payette, His Majesty conveyed his great satisfaction of the long-standing friendship and cooperation shared by the two countries and people, and looked forward to enhancing these important relations both bilaterally and as close regional and international partners.
