The blessings of national peace and harmony should be appreciated and defended by the country’s citizens and residents.
The Ummah should be grateful for the blessing and harmony by obeying and implementing Allah the Almighty’s commands, leaving His prohibitions, and abiding by the nation’s constitution, laws and regulations.
The Imams said this in the Friday sermon yesterday as the Sultanate celebrates the 62nd anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) on May 31.
“The army’s duty of protecting and defending the nation is noble and not an easy task.
Rather, it involves risks and a heavy responsibility. We should appreciate the services and sacrifices made by the RBAF. We pray that RBAF members will always be protected from any harm and disaster,” the Imams said.
