Rozman Junaidi will soon experience the thrill of the Singapore Formula One (F1) race from the grandstand, having won the grand prize in the ‘Fly to the Fast Lanes’ with Tyremart promotion.
Tyremart Operations and Branches Supervisor Guma Uban and Gadong Branch Supervisor Jennifer Santos presented the grand prize to Rozman Junaidi and his spouse at a prize presentation ceremony yesterday.
Rozman in an interview with the Weekend Bulletin said, “I am very happy. This is my first time winning a trip to F1. I have been watching the races since the early 80s during the era of Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell. I’ve always wanted to attend the race, and this is an opportunity to experience it.”
The promotion, running from July to September, attracted over 1,500 participants.
Each BND200 spent on tyres earned an entry for a chance to win two air tickets to the Singapore F1 night race at the Marina Bay Circuit, including three days of grandstand passes valued at BND898, and a four-day, three-night stay at the newly renovated Orchid Hotel. – James Kon
