Hajah Kasum binti Haji Maidin @ Awang Maidin drove home a brand new Toyota Rush after winning the grand prize at the Toyota Gembira Grand Draw event yesterday.
Public servant, Hajah Kasum was up against two other finalists – Haji Zulkepli bin Haji Sahari and Hajah Naimah @ Hajah Nooraini binti Haji Murni.
Hajah Kasum had the opportunity to choose either a BND22,000 shopping voucher, Gembira Box 1, or a choice of Toyota vehicles – a Vios, a Wigo, or a Rush. She chose a brand new Toyota Rush.
“I chose the Toyota Rush because it’s a big car and it will always remind me of winning the grand prize,” Hajah Kasum said. The new Rush is her fourth Toyota vehicle. Explaining her loyalty, she said, “From my experience, Toyota cars last for a long time. My Prado is almost 21 years old and still runs well.“
She also thanked Toyota Brunei for hosting the campaign.
Five consolation winners walked away with a BND2,000 shopping voucher each, with another five bringing home a BND1,000 shopping voucher each.
The prizes were handed over by NBT Managing Director Haji Ahmad Omar bin Pehin Dato Haji Husin and NBT Senior General Sales Manager Leong Cheng Soon. The campaign aimed to continuously deliver rewards to customers with exciting prizes.
Members of the public who purchased new Toyota models from March 1 to April 15 stood a chance to win prizes.
