Siti Sarah binti Ya’akob was shocked when her sister’s coupon number was announced as the grand prize winner of the GHK Year End Promotion, Drive Now Pay Next Year, and received BND5,000 cash prize.
Siti Sarah, who represented Siti Zaleena binti Ya’akob, said she arrived at the event late and had just entered the GHK Motors Sdn Bhd showroom in Beribi when her number was called.
“My sister bought a Perodua Bezza from GHK Motors last December. I was on the phone with her just now when I was on my way, and I jokingly told her that she was going to win. It became a reality, Alhamdulillah,” she told the Bulletin.
She thanked GHK Motors for organising the draw, adding that her family members have been loyal supporters of GHK Motors for their quality products and services.
GHK Motors’ Director Jake Goh and Chairman Pengiran Halaluddin bin Pengiran Dato Shariffuddin as well as General Manager (Sales) of Mitsubishi Au Thien Kiong officiated the event and drew the top three winners.
The second prize (BND3,000) was won by Mohammad Ariffin bin Salleh, while the third prize winner Mohammad Fithridza bin Ramlee received BND1,000.
Twenty customers each received a consolation prize of BND300.
The consolation prizes were drawn by Baiduri Finance Berhad’s Head of Sales Haji Muhammad Ali bin Haji Metusin, Head of Credit Control Grace Lim Hui Hoon and Marketing Officer Ward and Sales Executive from Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) Shahrin bin Haji Mohd Yassin.
BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad’s Head of Marketing and Public Relations Asharul bin Norshari Kamaluddin and Deputy Head of Marketing and Public Relations Mohd Azizulillah bin Haji Uthman were also involved.
The Drive Now Pay Next Year promotion ran from October 1 to December 31 last year for customers who had purchased automotive brands from GHK Motors, including Mitsubishi, Perodua, Daihatsu, MG, Maxus, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jeep, Alfa Romeo and Changan.
