A 29-year-old local man attended the High Court on Saturday and denied three charges of raping his 11-year-old girl neighbour.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Rozaimah binti Abdul Rahman’s charges allege the man of raping the girl in December 2021 and in June and September this year.
On hearing the defendant’s claim of innocence, Judicial Commissioner Haji Abdullah Soefri Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin adjourned the case to November 5 for trial dates to be fixed.
