Local filmmaker Abdul Zainidi attended the Red Carpet awards ceremony of the fifth edition of the Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently.
Known for his indie arthouse films Worm and the Widow and Vanishing Children Triangle, Abdul Zainidi said it was an honour to be a part of the film festival held at Istana Budaya.
Abdul Zainidi had the opportunity to Malaysian actor Bront Palarae and Busan International Film Festival founder Kim Dong-ho.
The MIFFest showcased feature films and short films from Malaysian and international filmmakers.
The local filmmaker hoped that the festival can encourage Bruneians to submit their work in the future.
