Local businesses are urged to unite, promote and take advantage of the country’s halal brand to penetrate foreign markets given the size of the domestic market.

The government has also invested heavily on local entrepreneurship and i-Ready apprenticeship programme to empower the youth.

This was brought up by entrepreneurs at a branding and graphic design sharing session with members and non-members of Brunei Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DPPMB) at its main office in Beribi yesterday.

Legislative Council member and DPPMB President Yang Berhormat Haji Abdul Hamid @Sabli bin Haji Arshad was present.

The sharing session aimed at raising awareness of the importance of branding among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
