Participants of the leather embroidery course organised by the Embassy of Iran in Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with the Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM) received certificates at a ceremony at the embassy recently.
Ambassador of Iran to Brunei Darussalam Homeira Rigi Zirouki and exco members of MKM Dr Kamariah binti Abu Salim and Hajah Norlinda binti Abdullah were also present. The two-day course was facilitated by Iranian artist, Soraya.
Millions of men and women are engaged in the halal leather industry in Iran, which is considered as one of the important industries of the country. They produce high quality leather products and exported worldwide.
