International Recruitment Officer Joshua Bomford will be at Findlay education services agency on October 4 to enlighten prospective students about the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and the programmes offered at this world-class Australian university. He will be there from 10am to noon.
With several campuses including Hobart and Launceston on the beautiful island state of Tasmania, this Top 300 QS and ARWU world-ranked university offers a vibrant and unique learning experience with world-class facilities and stunning accommodation.
UTAS was established in 1890 and is Australia’s fourth oldest university.
They offer more than 100 bachelor degrees and over 150 postgraduate programmes from graduate certificates to research degrees.
Their five colleges and three world-class institutes offer degrees in both traditional disciplines such as law, medicine, architecture, business, ICT and engineering, and also niche programmes such as maritime engineering, food safety, environmental law and governance and marine science.
The university has a generous merit-based scholarship programme with awardees receiving 25 per cent reduction on tuition fees on most programmes for the duration of their studies.
No additional application is required for consideration of these scholarships.
There are around 25-30 flights daily between Melbourne and Hobart or Launceston, making studying at the university very accessible to students from Brunei Darussalam.
