“Investing in our leaders is investing in the future of Baiduri Bank. By cultivating strong leadership skills and fostering an environment of collaboration, we not only enhance our organisational performance but also empower our teams to achieve their fullest potential,” said Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank Ti Eng Hui.
He said this during the bank’s third annual Leadership Forum at the Baiduri Community Space, Baiduri Bank Headquarters yesterday.
The one-day forum seeks to enhance leadership competencies across the organisation by promoting collaboration and shared learning among its leaders and people managers.
This year’s forum emphasised empowering leaders to cultivate high-performing teams in response to the complexities of a rapidly evolving financial landscape, all while embodying Baiduri Bank’s core values of trustworthiness, inclusivity, empathy, and an enterprising spirit.
Leadership coach from John TT Consulting John Tse Tow Joon Chung delivered a session on leadership transformation, offering practical insights into fostering leadership growth and
adaptability.
Throughout the day, participants explored key themes, including self-awareness and situational awareness, the importance of values and vision in leadership, and an introduction to the leadership circle model. The event also included a panel discussion addressing leadership challenges and strengths, as well as informal breakout sessions for managers to share their experiences and engage in discussions on key leadership topics.
Twenty four awards were presented to various heads of departments and their teams in recognition of their achievements this year.
