A GROUP of 40 participants recently attended a briefing by Generasi Bekarih for the Leaders Foundation Camp 2.0 (LFC) at the KHub Conference. The three-day camp, aimed for those aged between 17 and 26, will be held from February 16 to 18 at the Youth Development Centre in Kampong Tanah Jambu.
The programme received positive feedback from former participants of the previous camp held in December last year.
The objective of organising the camp was to help youths of today face challenges through sharing of lessons and experience from Generasi Bekarih facilitators.
The camp also aimed at building a generation of youths with admirable moral values focussing on leadership qualities. Participants comprised youths from all over the four districts.
The briefing was conducted by Generasi Bekarih members who shared information on important checklist for the three-day camp, the dos and don’ts, and opportunity to answer queries from the camp participants.
The camp is part of a three-tier step up programme that will be a follow-up to a more advanced course in the future. The second camp focusses mostly on Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and Institute of Higher Learning (IPT) students, as well as university graduates.
