Every year, more than BND50,000 is allocated to promote Chinese culture and improve the facilities of Chinese schools like the learning environment and improving teaching conditions to benefit all students.
“In a few more days, CHMS BSB will celebrate its 100th anniversary. This is a significant celebration for the local Chinese community. My father devoted his whole life to promote and further Chinese education. He was the chairman of CHMS BSB for over 40 years and the school will always be in his mind. I remember my father still thinking about CHMS BSB before he passed away.
“The COVID-19 pandemic affected the world, including schools. Therefore, Chinese schools in the country should promote the use of innovative education to meet the needs of the new era, which also plays an important role in nurturing students’ quality and overall development.”
On behalf of the recipients, CHMS KB Executive Chairman Tan Yong Kui conveyed gratitude to the late Pehin Datu Temenggong Dato Seri Paduka Lim Teck Hoo and his family.
