More than 60 residents from the Kampong Lambak residential areas participated in the ‘Lambak Ku Ceria Jalan Santai 2.5KM’, which flagged off and ended at the Dato Mahawangsa Lambak Primary School Field on Sunday.
The event was jointly organised by Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL); Kampong Lambak ‘A’; Kampong Lambak ‘B’; Kampong Lambak Mosque Takmir Committee; and Dato Mahawangsa Primary School Lambak.
Acting Village Head of Kampong Lambak ‘A’ Haji Ibrahim bin Haji Abdul Rahman; Acting Village Head Kampong Lambak ‘B’ Pengiran Jofri bin Pengiran Haji Zaidi; PERBEKAL Patron Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud and PERBEKAL President Pengiran Mahari bin Pengiran Haji Md Tahir participated in the walk.
Also joining were former village heads, Kampong Lambak Mosque Takmir Committee members, and residents of Kampong Lambak and surrounding villages.
Prior to the start, the Kampong Lambak Mosque Takmir Committee led the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a warm-up session led by former village head Haji Md Jair bin Haji Abdul Wahab.
The event aimed to encourage the community to join sports activities and promote healthy lifestyles.
