Schools are back to requiring students to wear face masks in light of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. For a parent, it is such a tremendous relief, especially with the emergence of a new variant.
While my family – including our cat – has contracted and recovered from the coronavirus, it is still better to err on the side of caution as it’s difficult to predict the severity of any given variant.
So kudos to the school authorities for their responsiveness to the latest pandemic developments and act so swiftly to keep our children safe.
