KOTA Ranger FC stormed to the top of the NFABD Under-19 Youth League after an emphatic 9-0 mauling of embattled IKLS-MB5 at the Berakas Sports Complex recently.
The under-19 team lead the table with 12 points after four games ahead of title contenders Kasuka FC and DPMM FC.
Abdul Aziz opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Md Aminuddin doubled the lead in the 27th minute.
Mohd Ammar added his name in the score-sheet with his effort in the 35th minute before Md Aminuddin grabbed his second of the game four minutes before the break.
Abdul Aziz resumed the Kota Ranger onslaught within a minute of the second half lapsed while Al Rafiq was also on target in the 57th minute.
Abdul Aziz completed his hat-trick in the 71st minute before a quick-fire double from Md Aminuddin further compounded IKLS’ misery, taking his tally to four in the game.
Elsewhere, at the NFABD Football Field, Kasuka FC enjoyed a thumping win over Panchor Murai FC to preserve their perfect record in the league.
A hat-trick from Md Aisan Aizuddin bin Abdullah Md Aiman and doubles from Md Azinur Rashiman bin Haji Jufri and Md Amirul Syami Adillah bin Md Helmi gave Kasuka another routine victory. Panchor Murai’s mere consolation came from Md Aiman bin Ramlee in the 73rd minute.
The top three will be in action tomorrow with league leaders Kota Ranger taking on Setia Perdana. DPMM FC will face Panchor Murai while Kasuka FC will play Seri Wira FC.
