Korean students pursuing studies at Laksamana College of Business (LCB) took the opportunity to experience the 37th National Day Grand Assembly and Parade at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien yesterday.

Ella Kim, Minseo Kim and Gloria Lee woke at 4am and headed to the capital at 5.30am to avoid the traffic.

Speaking to the Bulletin, Minseo said, “This is my first time witnessing such a grand celebration. So many people came to join the celebration. I have never experienced a parade in Korea, so this is very exciting.”

The trio said they will miss the people of Brunei Darussalam when they return home after graduating this December.

“We love Brunei, whose people are kind and friendly. We hope to come back again.”
