Korean delegation visits Menglait Secondary School

THE Menglait Secondary School played host to a delegation from Namseoul University, South Korea comprising 14 Undergraduate students undertaking Social Welfare Studies led by lecturer Dr Kim Hee-young yesterday.

Programme Leader for Continuing Professional Development Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Education (SHBIE) Dr Hajah Nor Zaiham Midawati binti Haji Abdullah and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) lecturers as well as officials from the Department of Schools accompanied the delegation. School Principal Osman bin Rajap and members of the school administration welcomed the visitors.

They were briefed on facilities at Model Inclusive School (MIS) building called Kasih Block, Pre-Vocational Programme by Head of MIS Samdani bin Haji Bakar followed by a video presentation showcasing activities conducted by the teachers and students throughout the year 2018.

The school’s principal and the delegation toured the MIS facilities and participated in packaging activity of KFC condiments with KFC staff and students. They also took part in arts and crafts and cooking activities with teachers and students.
