Chung Hwa School Kiudang (CHSK) visited places of interest in the Brunei-Muara District recently as part of their annual year-end programme.

Some 55 students from KG1 to KG3 and Year 1 accompanied by Principal Loo Shee Yun and 13 teachers visited Little Kingdom Petting Zoo, Jerudong Park where they fed peacocks, raccoons, and turtles.

The visit aimed to provide exposure to the students on interesting facts about animals and to develop thinking skills through experience while participating in activities.

Meanwhile CHSK students also participated in a study tour to the Royal Regalia Museum and the Brunei Energy Hub Dermaga Diraja in Bandar Seri Begawan.

The visit was attended by 50 Year 2 to Year 6 students and 13 teachers.

The group first visited the Royal Regalia Museum where they saw exhibits related to the commemoration of the Silver and Golden Jubilee celebrations of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s rule.

The students then headed to the Brunei Energy Hub Dermaga Diraja which provides knowledge about the oil and gas industry and exposes students to the sophisticated and advanced technology used in Brunei Darussalam.
