Chung Hwa School Kiudang (CHSK) welcomed the return of Kindergarten 1 and 2 pupils to the physical classroom on Monday, after classes were temporarily halted due to the second wave of COVID-19.
In ensuring the well-being of students, teachers and staff, CHSK implemented measures that follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the school’s business continuity plan (BCP) approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE).
One measure is for students to undergo the antigen rapid test (ART) in school once a week. Only students with negative results can attend the physical class. A body temperature station is also located at the school entrance.
CHSK kindergarten students will attend face-to-face learning once a week, and for the rest of the week, home-based learning (HBL) or home-pack learning following the 30 per cent capacity allowance.
CHSK Principal Loo Shee Yun thanked parents for the support and cooperation with the school’s guidelines. She was also pleased to see the kindergartners return to the physical classroom.
