Kindergarteners from St James’ School lit up yesterday’s gloomy, overcast morning as they enjoyed a variety of games and activities during a school visit to the Language and Literature Bureau Library in Kampong Pandan.
The visit was part of the library’s ‘Mesra Perpustakaan’ programme which aims to encourage residents and children to visit the library.
Activities included reading sessions, games to promote motor and arithmetic skills, colouring and mix-and-match games. Students received prizes for participation.
The library hoped that the fun games and activities inspired the students to learn outside of the classroom together with their friends. – Daniel Lim
