Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) organised a Business Week with an AiTi e-Commerce Awareness Programme at its Business, Marketing and Communication Centre (BMCC). It was held as part of the 2nd Annual Business Week at KIGS.
The roadshow presenters delivered topics on an introduction to e-Commerce (by Rotuku.com), introduction to online shopping (by Naindah.com and KadaiRuncit.com) and Internet and social media safety by IT Protective Security Services (ITPSS).
Representatives from DARe (Darussalam Enterprise) discussed Identifying Your Unique Value Proposition.
Students also attended a business start-up sharing session by the founder of Ajwa Kitchen and Catering, with the talk aimed at instilling bold characteristics and confidence in taking steps towards entrepreneurship.
Throughout the Business Week, art activities, talks, plays and a food fair were held, allowing students a chance to step into the business world to promote their products and services.
Head of Business Faculty Gwendoline William noted that the event allows students to apply their knowledge and demonstrate skills in planning and executing a business project.
As part of the module, the students will be assessed based on their Business related modules throughout the event.
