A tournament is not only a platform to show of skills but also to polish young talent and strengthen teams, said Keputeraan Cup Futsal Tournament 2024 Chairman Rosdin bin Haji Abdul Aziz at the tournament’s team managers’ meeting and draw at the Brunei-Muara District Office yesterday.
Twenty-four teams will compete in the tournament with teams from Sabah and Sarawak in Malaysia. The competition begins at Universiti Brunei Darussalam Sports Complex on September 15.
The bi-annual tournament is organised in conjunction with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s birthday celebration. – Azlan Othman
