The recent Express E-Hits 2 Awards proves to be an eye opening showcase to a more vibrant and impressive local music scene. Watching the live telecast at home, I was impressed with the level of professionalism by the local performing artistes on stage.
I’m proud to say that quality wise, the show itself is almost on par with similar awards show held in other countries, which already have a solid reputable music industry.
Without undermining our local talent, I find it impressive that the Brunei music industry has shown significant improvement. Even the radio stations are now giving fair exposure to the local artistes by playing more of their songs.
