The Health Promotion Centre (HPC) under the Ministry of Health (MoH) in collaboration with Gleneagles Jerudong Park Medical Centre and the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) Control Unit at the Ministry of Religious Affairs organised a health screening for the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ (MoRA) officers and staff.

The five-day inspection began yesterday as part of the Workplace and Health (WAH) programme for civil servants.

It aims to encourage over 6,000 MoRA officers and staff to follow health programmes, healthy lifestyle courses with an emphasis on the importance of integrated action in preventing, detecting and addressing risk factors of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) including obesity, unhealthy diet, lack of physical activity, smoking and mental health issues.

The HPC together with the MoRA will also organise several Workplace Health Promotion (WHP) activities in the near future.
