Some 83 judges of the Syariah Subordinate and High Courts, Acting Chief Registrar of the Syariah Court of Appeal and Civil Court as well as the State Judiciary Department took part in a fire safety briefing on October 27 at the Syariah Court, Bandar Seri Begawan.
Chief Syar’ie Judge Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar was present.
The briefing was held to increase awareness as well as foster a sense of responsibility and care about fire safety.
The briefing stated that evacuation training should be done at least twice a year to ensure the effectiveness of the procedures.
