The Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (JPES), Ministry of Finance and Economy is holding e-census clinics for the Population and Housing Census (BPP) 2021 to help heads of households to register and complete the census before the June 21 deadline.
The e-Census is introduced for BPP 2021 to facilitate the public to fill in their information online. Detailed information relating to housing and demographics of each household/family members will be collected, including questions on education, employment, health and leisure activities.
JPES in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Info-Communication (MTIC) will host the e-census clinics from June 7-9 at Amar Pahlawan Hall, MTIC Building, Jalan Menteri Besar and June 9-10 at Tutong District Office, Tutong Community Hall Complex.
The e-census clinics will be from 8am to noon and 2-4.30pm.
BPP 2021 is implemented under Chapter 78 of the Census Act of the Laws of Brunei Darussalam. The Census Act obliges the public to answer all census questions and ensures that individual information is kept secure and confidential.
