Joint training programme strengthens ties

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through the Uniformed Unit of the Police Cadet Force together with the Gadong Police Training Centre, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) held a tour and parade training programme with Kor Suksis of Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sabah branch.

Some 22 individuals participated, including two supervising teachers, two members of the police training centre trainers and 17 UNISSA police cadet students.

They were led by Acting Officer-in-Charge of the police cadet at the RBPF C/Insp Ibrahim bin Haji Saili, and Director of UNISSA’s Technology and Multimedia Centre K/SM Dr Adam bin Haji Jait, who is also the supervising teacher of UNISSA’s police cadet.

The programme was held from October 7 to 9.

The joint tour and parade training programme was the first held by the UNISSA police cadet for the Sabah branch of UiTM’s Kor Suksis.

The programme aimed to share experiences, build good relationships between the two teams, to learn the best practices from the UiTM Sabah branch and the Royal Brunei Police Cadet Team, and help build strong discipline, confidence and leadership.
