The Royal Brunei Police Force and the Royal Customs and Excise Department of Tutong District recently conducted a joint enforcement roadblock operation in the vicinity of Jalan Bukit Barun, Tutong.
During the operation, 185 vehicles were inspected, and ten compound fines were issued for various offences, including worn-out tyres, tinted windows, and driving without a valid license.
Meanwhile, the Royal Customs and Excise Department identified four violations under the Excise Order 2006, involving the possession of contraband such as smuggled cigarettes.
The operation aimed to strengthen traffic law enforcement and combat criminal activities.
The Royal Brunei Police Force, along with other enforcement agencies, advises the public to comply with the law and cooperate by sharing information to help curb criminal activities in the country. – James Kon
