Joining forces to give back to the community

The Coffee Bean Brunei collaborated with the Society for Community Outreach and Training – Education (SCOTEdu) for its ‘Back to School’ campaign held yesterday in conjunction with World Volunteering Day.

The campaign involved 24 volunteers from the PAR Food and Beverage Sdn Bhd and 21 from SCOT Education, according to a press statement, providing 31 primary and secondary schoolchildren from under-privileged families in the Brunei-Muara and Temburong districts with school uniforms, stationery and other school necessities.

PAR Food and Beverage Sdn Bhd President, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Mun’im bin Pengiran Anak Haji Tahiruddin, was also present during the event.

Arkitek Rekajaya, PAR Corporation, Le Gallery Suites Hotel and Restaurant Sdn Bhd, PAR Premium Company and PAR Food and Beverage Sdn Bhd as well as their employees also contributed basic essentials to 12 underprivileged families.

The Coffee Bean Brunei said it will strive to build upon its corporate social responsibility in responding to societal needs with the intention of enacting positive change in the environment and community.
