Jerudong Park Adventure Kingdom was accredited by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) to provide adventure-type activities last Saturday.
Various local organisations, including Jerudong Park Country Club Sdn Bhd (JPCC) received certification during a presentation ceremony hosted by the MPRT at its Setia Pahlawan Hall.
Permanent Secretary at the MPRT Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab graced the ceremony.
The Tourism Development Department of the MPRT has introduced Brunei Darussalam Tourism Adventure Activities Guidelines (BDTAAG) for adventure activity providers to comply.
JPCC General Manager Hajah Siti Norzalena Pehin Orang Kaya Lela Raja Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Awang Abdul Rahman received the certification in recognition of compliance with BDTAAG.
Mohammad Adi Ayazani bin Haji Md Salleh, Wan Mohd Amirul Azizan and Md Syahmi Mu’izzuddin, the team from JPCC received certificates for completing the safety coordinator course by Berjaya Aman, a certified training provider by Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA).
