JobCentre Brunei (JCB) has launched an upgraded system in its continuous effort to effectively match jobseekers with employers.
The new system, rolled out on March 27, is designed with the convenience of three target user groups in mind: jobseekers who want to jumpstart their career; employers who want to recruit the right talents; and the general public and stakeholders.
The previous system, released in 2015, was successful in getting vacancies and applications posted online. However, all job matching and analysis were done manually. With this upgrade, collaborated with Dynamik Technologies Sdn Bhd, the system now boasts new features such as integrated dashboards, automated job matching and recommendations, streamlined training opportunities, expanded search filters, selections from 1,000 skillsets to showcase job applications and descriptions, improved communication channels, individual social media links, analytics for reporting, and more reliable and stable infrastructure.
Jobseekers are encouraged to sign up with the new system at jobcentrebrunei.gov.bn using their e-Darussalam accounts, while new companies using with their Registration of Companies and Business Names (ROCBN) numbers.
Meanwhile, previously registered jobseekers and employers can still log in by activating their profiles and job application or advertisement status, while the public can view top featured employers, trending jobs in the market, listed vacancies and jobseekers and upcoming training sessions.
