Japanese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Maeda Toru and Acting Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah attended the opening ceremony of Japanese Film Festival 2024 at Times Cineplex yesterday.
The event was held in celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate and Japan.
The two-day festival, which concludes today, was organised by the Japanese embassy in cooperation with the Japan Foundation.
