The International Women’s Club of Brunei (IWCB) is set to hold a donation drive for 120 orphans from Mukim Kota Batu on April 2 at Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque.
The event will commence with the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah by the Imam of Kampong Sungai Besar Mosque, followed by the presentation of the donations of cash and goody bags.
The donations will be presented to every children by IWCB President Ungku Datin Hajah Fanzah binti Haji Osman and members of the club.
The event will be coordinated by Village Head of Kampong Sungai Besar Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Haji Awang Zaini bin Haji Awang Damit.
The cash donations and goody bags are accumulated funds of the club during fundraising events throughout the year, as well as personal contributions from its members as part of their annual initiative during the holy month of Ramadhan.
