Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s (ITQSHHB) Deputy Principal of ‘Aliyah Qiraat Diploma Studies Mohd Ali Sabri bin Haji Yusof is currently in Selangor, Malaysia to attend the International Conference On Professional Huffaz (INFAZ) 2023.
The conference carries the theme “Development of Professional Huffaz Education in the Region” touched on the future of Huffaz (memorisation) of Al-Quran education and how every Muslim nation is facing the challenge of producing unlimited number of Tahfiz in the religious field and extending it to other professions.
Mohd Ali Sabri delivered a working paper on ‘Empowering Huffaz Generation in Brunei Darussalam’.
The conference was officiated by Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The conference is organised by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) with cooperation from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP).
Present at the airport on Wednesday evening to bid farewell to Mohd Ali Sabri was ITQSHHB Head of International Unit, MABIMS and Public Relations at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Pengiran Muhammad Azrin bin Pengiran Jarail.
