ITF booked their spot in the last four of the Al Idrus FA Cup after a 3-1 win against Al Idrus SC at the Royal Brunei Recreation Centre Football Field recently.

The victory ended hopes of a family affair between the two all- Al Idrus teams with Al Idrus FT already in the hat for the next round.

After a goalless first half, Radiman Rahman bagged a double in the 46th and 55th minute before Kula Mohammad extended their lead further in the 70th minute. Al Idrus pulled one back through Adie Awang in the 77th minute.

ITF joined cup favourites Al Idrus FT, RB Veteran and SM FC and will play SM FC for a place in the final.

ITF are presented a chance to exact redemption against their Group ‘D’ league rivals in the last four after a dramatic end to a three-way battle in the group stages.

Both sides met earlier in October with the scores ending 2-2 in a result that would prove costly for ITF and favoured SM FC who went on to top the group.

SM FC’s crushing victory on the last day of the season confirmed ITF’s elimination from the competition who dropped outside the qualifying places.

The semi-finals of the Al Idrus FA Cup will be held on March 15 and March 17 at the Royal Brunei Recreation Centre Football Field.
