THE muBn Learning and Growth Company (mLGC) will be conducting an Islamic parenting workshop from May 22 to 24.
The ‘Early Quranic Literacy 2017’ work-shop will be held at the Mini Auditorium at Level 3 of the DARe (Darussalam Enterprise), Design and Technology Building in Kampong Anggerek Desa.
The workshop – in collaboration with DARe and Al-Huffaz Management – will be facilitated by Mazalina Karim, a mother of two who has been homeschooling her children. She has also set up an Islamic parenting network, where other parents are taught learning techniques and lesson plans for their children. A number of parents have already subscribed to her programme.
Some of the programmes that will be carried out during the workshop include a ‘Mental Arithmetic’ activity, the ‘Al-Quran Memorisation Course’, the ‘Quranic Masterplan’, and ‘Homeschooling’.
The workshop aims to maximise children’s brain potential in terms of memory, learning capacity, logic and problem solving skills, emotional intelligence, and others through Al-Quran.
It is also part of the mLGC’s initiatives to uphold His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s wish to see an ‘Al-Quran generation’.
