Asked about the objective of the tournament, Ken Han, founder of Shooting Stars Brunei and co-organiser of the tournament said the tournament “aimed to foster team spirit and allows the individual to apply what they have been practising in training, with the hope that it builds self-confidence and most importantly, creates meaningful fun”.
Han hoped to continue this tournament “to help unearth Brunei basketball talents to polish and become the next national team players”.
He also thanked sponsors and other parties that helped organise the tournament.
