Irest Sports futsal tourney on May 28, 30

Futsal activities will be extended to the corporate sector through the Santa Express Intercompany Futsal 2021 Tournament organised by the Irest Sports Management at the UBD Indoor Sports Complex on May 28 and 30. The two-day tournament aims to grow futsal in the country and further increase the popularity of the sport among the corporate world.

All employees must show proof of employment in the company either via TAP and SCP, contracts or payslip for locals. For foreigners, they should present a Foreign Worker Licence as proof of employment.

One of the regulations of the tournament includes being allowed a maximum of five import players in a 1:1 ratio with official employees.

The champion will win a BND1,000 cash prize while runners-up and third place will walk away with a BND600 and BND300 cash prize, respectively.

There will also be a special cash prize of BND25 for each individual winner including top scorer, best player and best goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, the draw will be made on May 23. The tournament is sponsored by Santa Express Oilfield Services.
