THE Brunei Squash Rackets Association (BSRA) will host the Invitational Squash Championship from today until Sunday, which will see participation of top players from Malaysia.
This is held in conjunction with the 35th National Day celebration.
The championship has received 40 participations across four categories – Men’s Open, Men’s Division 1, Men’s Masters and Women’s Open.
The matches will take place at the National Squash Centre at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex and is open to the public.
With the invited players coming in from Malaysia, the association hopes the local players will gain more experience as they will compete against professional squash players such as Sanjay Singh (currently ranked 136th in the world) and recent British Junior U13 Open 2019 finalist Harith Danial Jefri.
