Internet-less business challenge

We would like to highlight an issue we’ve had with an Internet service provider.

Our company was recently relocated, and prior to moving, we visited the Internet service provider to obtain information on the standard procedures for transferring of the telephone and Internet line.

We were told that it would take at least two weeks to install and activate the line.
However, it has been more than three weeks now. They have yet to install and activate our line.

Despite countless visits to the customer service counter and calls to their hotline, the company remained reluctant in giving us a specific timeline.

Without access to the Internet, it’s quite a challenge to run our operations effectively and efficiently.

Our question is: Why is the termination of services immediate while re-activation takes forever to accomplish?
