DARUSSALAM Holdings Sdn Bhd (DHSB) hosted a knowledge-sharing talk at the Arts and Handicraft Training Centre in the capital for this year’s intending Haj pilgrims yesterday.
The briefing focussed primarily on providing the intending pilgrims with knowledge and how to get most of their holy journey.
The briefing was delivered by DHSB’s Managing Director Haji Mahmud bin Haji Mohamed, who will also lead the delegation; Head of Haj and Umrah Department Pengiran Haji Ibrahim bin Pengiran Haji Bakar; Religious Officer of DHSB Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Rahman; and Religious Officer of DHSB Hajah Zaleha binti Haji Ibrahim.
This year, DHSB is offering three Haj packages – Delima (Premium), Safira (Medium) and Zamrud (Economy) – while Brunei Darussalam will have four special flights bound for Saudi Arabia.
The first batch will depart from Bandar Seri Begawan to Madinah, on July 18.
The intending Haj pilgrims were also told to claim their souvenirs from the DHSB head office at The Airport Mall in Berakas, on July 2 between 9am-4pm.
Two officials from DHSB, including the Director will leave for Saudi Arabia to ensure the smooth running of operations on July 8.
A total of 785 intending pilgrims will be under DHSB as their Haj operator this year, out of the 1,000 quotas allocated for Brunei Darussalam.
