The Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office through the Nationalism Unit, Strategic Communications Division, held a briefing at Meragang Sixth Form Centre (PTEM) recently.
Nearly 300 students attended the event along with principal Moss bin Mat Juni.
The programme aims to instil a sense of love for the ruler and the nation as well as promoting the spirit of patriotism in the students.
The programme also supports Brunei Vision 2035 as well as the National Youth Policy and Strategy 2020-2035.
The briefing on ‘Role and Responsibilities as citizens of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’, was delivered by Head of the Nationalism Unit Hajah Noorihijrah binti Haji Idris.
The briefing touched on the role and responsibility of the people towards the country and the government; community and family in contributing to the nation.
