The Brunei Institute of Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF) organised a HR Retreat at the ILIA Building, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) on September 28.
It was attended by human resource (HR) professionals from BILIF’s stakeholders in the finance industry.
The event’s objectives were to strengthen relationships between BILIF and its stakeholders, as well as to provide a platform for HR professionals to network and learn from one another.
The event discussed ways to manage a multi-generational workforce, retention of Generation Z in the workplace, as well as deliberate on the perspectives of the new generation towards the organisations.
The event began with a presentation followed by a discussion led by Speaker, Master Trainer/Learning Facilitator, Assessor and Coach Karen Ong from Malaysia. It proceeded with one-on-one sessions with the speaker where participants gained insights and discussed the challenges faced within their workplace.
