Royal Brunei Catering Sdn Bhd (RBC) launched its pop-up airline themed restaurant at Anjung Saujana of the Brunei International Airport yesterday.
Attending the ‘Inflight by RBC’ launch were the members of the Board of Directors of RBC and Baiduri Bank (as collaborative partners for the promotion), including Baiduri Bank Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Business Development Pengiran Azaleen bin Pengiran Dato Haji Mustapha.
RBC General Manager Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial commended airliners and caterers around the world for their initiatives to promote air travel and onboard dining in the face of the extended halt in commercial air travel. “From airplane-themed cafes in Thailand to Dine & Fly promotions by Brunei’s national carrier, there have been numerous initiatives held this year, all met with great success and an overwhelmingly positive response from the public,” he added.
“This is the reason why RBC is launching ‘Inflight’ dining to remind everyone about the forgotten flavours of on board dining,” he said.
Having been in airline catering for 45 years, RBC has been at the forefront of providing delightful inflight culinary experiences to air travellers. The campaign reminds the public of the quality of the meals that RBC has served for nearly five decades.
Inflight by RBC is available until November end, with the daily changes in menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals will include an appetiser, main course and dessert, hot and cold beverages and warm soft rolls and croissants.
Baiduri Bank customers can enjoy an exclusive 10 per cent discount by using the newly introduced Royal Brunei Visa Cards by Baiduri Bank.
