A total of 67 School Counsellors and Counsellor Practicum attended the Sharing Session on Islamic Family Law held at the Sports School Lecture Theatre on Thursday.
The session was organised by the Counselling Unit, Student Affairs Division, Schools Department, Ministry of Education.
The guest speakers were Religious Officer, Family Counselling Services Division, Department of Shariah Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs Muhd Hanif bin Haji Sha’ari and Syaria Lawyer Certified Mediator Mohamad Affendy Junaidi.
The session was aimed to increase the knowledge of school counsellors regarding matters involving family institutions.
A token of appreciation was also presented by representative for Head of the Counselling Unit, Department of Student Affairs, Department of Schools, Ministry of Education Norajrina binti Haji Jahri to the guest speakers.
